National Rally 2026

The Midland Rover Owner’s Club (MROC) is well known throughout the Land Rover fraternity for putting on the Majors CCVT competition weekend.

This year, it is hosting the ALRC National Rally at Green Hall Farm, over the Bank Holiday weekend of Friday, May 22 to Monday, May 25, at Green Hall Farm, near Llanfyllin Wales (not far from Oswestry). 

 Alongside the usual events and entertainment, the Lancashire-based Red Rose Land Rover Club will give a demonstration of its annual ‘War of the Roses’ event on the Saturday evening. 

 For those who have never taken part or spectated at the War of the Roses, it promises to be very entertaining.

 It consists of a series of varied tasks that take skill and ingenuity to complete, involving a mix of trialling, winching and team-based challenges. 

MROC has entered the competition many times and won the shield in 2008. 

Publicity officer Jonathan Jones said: Overall, this year’s ALRC National Rally promises to be an exciting and sociable weekend, so come along and enjoy the events, soak up the ambience, and relax over a beer with like-minded enthusiasts.

“If you would like to visit during the day only, you do not need to purchase spectator tickets or book in advance; there is just a small charge of £5 per vehicle. Non-members are very welcome to come for the day.”
